BLS (CPR and AED)
Every year in the UK, around 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur, yet fewer than 1 in 10 people survive. Immediate action, including early CPR and defibrillator use, can more than double the chances of survival. Unfortunately, fewer than 10% of these emergencies involve the use of a public-access defibrillator.
